FUNDRAISE
There’s loads of ways to fundraise, but here’s a few of our favourites.
FUNDRAISING IDEAS
Exploring creative fundraising ideas is a fantastic way to support the invaluable work that we do. Each of these ideas not only raises funds but also brings communities together, fostering a spirit of generosity and gratitude towards those who’ve served our nation.
Coffee Mornings: Host a gathering at home, a local pub, or a hall, where cakes donated by friends and family are sold alongside coffee. Consider adding a tombola or raffle to boost fundraising.
Sponsored Walk/Cycle/Run: Participate in or organize a distance-based event such as a 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, the National Three Peaks Challenge, or a coast-to-coast cycle. These challenges offer a great way to raise funds through sponsorships.
Sporting Events: Organise a sporting competition like a five-a-side football tournament, boxing night, or snooker match. While these events require more planning, they have the potential to engage communities and raise significant funds.
Office Bake-Off: Encourage colleagues to showcase their baking talents in a friendly competition, with the sale proceeds of the baked goods going to charity. It’s a delicious way to engage the office and support a good cause.
Non-Uniform Day: A simple yet effective fundraising idea where students donate to wear their own clothes for a day. Making it a themed fancy dress day can add an element of fun and increase participation.
School Bake Sale: Engage students and parents in baking and selling cakes and biscuits. This not only raises funds but also teaches valuable lessons in cooking, baking, and handling money.
