Armed Forces Mobile Outreach Unit

Hull 4 Heroes is proud to launch the Armed Forces Mobile Outreach Unit, a three-year initiative funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. This vital project will deliver face‑to‑face welfare services directly to veterans and their families across Hull and the East Riding, with a particular focus on rural and underserved communities.

We now run weekly in‑person outreach sessions across the region:

  • Bridlington: Our outreach clinic runs every week in the Morrisons Cafe, Bessingby Road, from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Veterans and their families can drop in for support, advice, or simply a friendly chat.

  • Goole: We now run a weekly coffee morning and outreach clinic every Tuesday, 10am–12pm, in the Morrisons Café Goole.

The mobile outreach unit will continue to expand this support by providing welfare checks, personalised signposting, skill‑building workshops, and guidance around mental health, housing, and financial stability. It will also help build community connections through peer support and social activities—reducing isolation and improving wellbeing.

Keep an eye out—our next location is coming soon…

By taking support on the road, this outreach unit ensures that no veteran is left behind.
